Hello my
darlings, I’m sorry it’s been over a year that I have blog anything. For there
are many reasons I can say why I've stopped, at this time I rather focus on
something happier. Hence I’m giving you the 1th installment of upcoming DIY party planning. I choice to give myself a birthday party, being that my plans didn't come through. So as I was inviting my friends and family a few people asked me what was my theme going to be? Everyone who knows me KNOWS that I love
to do themes! So as I was completing what “theme” I would do, I chose to do
something quite unique, I put two of my favorites “stories” into one party.
It was
called “Super Heroes At Mad Hatter’s Tea Party” As you watch the video you’ll
see how I set up my backyard and what extra and personal touches I did. As for
the writing I’ll be sharing some of the recipes for the sandwiches I made. As
well as information of where I got most of my stuff I've used. After doing the
math the total of the party was $230 (rounding off to higher number)
FOOD:
Dates wrap in Bacon made over 80. Wrap bacon around the
dates put in oven for about 20-25 minutes. Frist 10 minutes flip dates to other
side and let it bake another 10-15 minutes
At the
supermarket they were making fresh made Kettle
popcorn. So I bought the Extra-large bag for only $5 dollars. Normally at
fairs and carnivals they charge double the amount!
3 different
types of cookies: Rainbows (Italian Style), Butter cookies jelly filling
chocolate dip with sprinkles, and Shortbread.
I order my
cake from my favorite Bakery; Pasticceria “La Torre” in Howard
Beach. The baker John asked if he could use a different photo than the one I gave him. I told him that
I have complete faith in him and to surprise me. Well, he truly shocked me, when he found how I'm a HUGE fan of Wonder Woman and he used the perfect photo Lynda Cater when she was Wonder Woman! Both customers and staff took photos of this most beautiful
cake! The fillings were French Cream with Strawberries, yellow cake and whipped
cream frosting. I highly recommend going to this bakery everything they make is
AMAZING! (Also got some of the cookies there)

Baby
Spinach with black olives and bacon cream cheese spread
Ingredients:
I used Smoke wood flavor bacon (2 things you should know; 1-used
any flavor bacon you like. 2-use the whole package! Because of bacon thieves!
Lol) Cook bacon until extra crispy.
Slice black large black olives (can) thin
2 cream cheese 8oz (Room
temperature) Mix together and keep overnight in refrigerator.
I’m not going to lied
I bought pre-wash bagged baby spinach (rewash and pat dried)
I used thick white bread and Oatmeal Bread.
I butter both each slice of bread, this help
with the cream cheese spread. (Also if
